Baptism is a gift from God and is a formal welcome into the church family.
Baptism at St. Peter’s or St. Luke’s is recognised by all major denominations worldwide and those that are newly baptized belong as much as any other baptized person.
With baptism we become ministers of God – people who share something of the heart of God.
It is usual for baptisms to take place during one of our services on a Sunday or on a Wednesday with the time and date to be arranged with the clergy.
We find it helpful for the family to have a practice before the service – this usually happens a couple of days before the baptism.
